Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo vineyards are located in the municipality of Verduno.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification
Traditional vinification takes place in cement tanks. Fermentation remains in contact with the skins for approximately 15–20 days, accompanied by automatic pump-overs.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately one year in medium-capacity Slavonian oak barrels. Several further months of bottle refinement are intended to accentuate freshness and aromatic fragrance.
Tasting profile
The colour is ruby red and deliberately not overly intense, reflecting the character of Nebbiolo. The ethereal aroma offers notes of flowers and fresh fruit. The palate is dry and full-bodied.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 16–17 °C. The available format is a 750 mL bottle.
