About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in several vineyards in the municipality of Treiso, at 400–420 metres above sea level. The sites have southeastern exposure and shallow soils over dense marl. The vines are 45 years old on average.
Vinification
Harvest timing varies according to each year’s weather, but picking generally takes place between 25 September and 15 October. Fermentation occurs in stainless-steel vats at a controlled temperature of 27–30 °C for approximately two weeks, followed by 40–50 days of maceration.
Ageing
The wine ages for 24 months in French and Slavonian oak barrels, followed by another 12 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.

Rich and warm, with a complex aroma, pleasant freshness and a remarkably persistent taste.
