About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from selected estate vineyards in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, Montalcino, in the province of Siena. Selection considers both fruit quality and vineyard exposure.

Grapes

100% Sangiovese Grosso.

Vinification

Harvesting is exclusively manual. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled 24–26°C, with daily pumping over and délestage.

Ageing

After racking, the wine completes its maturation in stainless steel, followed by bottle ageing.

Tasting profile

This youthful, fresh and fragrant interpretation of Sangiovese Grosso is full-bodied and balanced, with light tannic grip, good persistence and an elegant, inviting character.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 18°C in medium-sized glasses. Pair with pasta dressed with red-meat sauces, red-meat main courses, or grilled and roasted white meat and poultry.
