About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the province of Taranto, Puglia, in vineyards with clay, limestone and marl soils. They are harvested by hand.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and pressed, followed by extended maceration and fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 25 °C. Numerous analytical checks are carried out throughout production. The wine is bottled under cold, sterile conditions.
Ageing
The wine spends six months in large oak casks, followed by 6–8 months in stainless-steel tanks.
