About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from vineyards in Castiglione Falletto and La Morra.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand in October and chilled for several days to preserve their varietal aromas. After gentle pressing, the must undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation for one month. Malolactic fermentation follows in oak barrels.

Ageing

The wine ages on its fine lees in oak barrels for eight months, with regular bâtonnage. After bottling, it matures for several more months in the cellar.

Tasting profile

Bright and lively, with elegance, depth and an expressive bouquet. The flavours are layered, with a memorable fruit profile and mature tannins.
