About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo is grown in the Barolo area at 380–450 m above sea level. Cuvage manages 200 ha of vineyards whose soils comprise clay, carbonate, marl and white limestone. Integrated pest management is practised.
Vinification
Selected bunches are used for the sparkling wines. Slow fermentation takes place in the bottle at a controlled 13–14 °C.
Ageing
The wine remains on its lees for at least 24 months.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif.
Label / history
Cuvage was founded in 2011 in Acqui Terme, in the province of Alessandria. Its name combines “Cuvée” and “Perlage.”
