About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from the “Rive” and “Bettolotti” vineyard plots in La Morra. The sites have a distinctive microclimate and soils rich in trace elements.
Vinification
Fermentation and skin contact take place for 25–30 days in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27–31 °C. Malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in 2,500-litre Swiss oak casks.
Tasting profile
Confident and uncompromising in character, the wine has a complex aroma, an exotic style and intriguing notes of incense on the palate.
