About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The wine comes from 2.70 ha of vines at an average altitude of 400 m. The soils are composed of galestro and alberese—marly and limestone formations. Planting density is 5,000 vines per hectare, and the vines are trained to spur-pruned cordon at a height of 0.80 m.

100% Sangiovese grosso.

Vinification

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in wood.

Ageing

The wine matures for 10 months in French oak barrels.
