About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

This Barbaresco is assembled from grapes grown in multiple vineyards across the denomination’s area of origin. The 2022 selection came from the cooperative growers’ 120 hectares, encompassing south-, west- and east-facing sites. The soils are calcareous clay with sandy veins, and 54 member growers contributed grapes.

Vinification

For the 2022 vintage, fermentation took place in stainless steel at 28°C. Skin contact lasted 28 days, with two pump-overs daily, and malolactic fermentation was completed.

The 2022 matured for 20 months in 50 hl oak casks and was bottled in March 2025.
