About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The soils have a sandy surface over stratified gravel, followed by layers of clay and limestone. This profile contributes to the wine’s elegance and soft tannins.

Grapes

100% Nebbiolo.

Vinification

For the 2024 vintage, the grapes were destemmed and crushed on arrival at the cellar. Maceration lasted seven days at no more than 29 °C. Malolactic fermentation finished before winter.

Ageing

The wine matured for approximately 16 months before bottling.

Tasting profile

Ruby red with garnet highlights. Floral and fruity aromas emphasize violet and rose. The palate is delicate and elegant, with refined tannins.

Vintage notes

The 2024 season began with a mild winter and occasional rain that partly restored groundwater after the previous summer’s drought. Normal budbreak occurred in mild conditions, while the latter half of spring and the summer brought further rainfall. Careful soil management and cluster thinning helped preserve vine health and achieve both sugar concentration and freshness. Harvest ran from October 11 to 22.

Label / history
