Tasting profile
Firm in character, with a rich yet elegant flavour, an inviting aroma and a smooth texture.
Vintage notes
The winter of 2011 was mild, with moderate temperatures. An early, rainy spring was followed by dry, sunny conditions in late April and May. Rainfall from June through July created good soil-water reserves and supported excellent vine development. A hot, dry August and warm September brought the grapes to optimal ripeness. The vintage was expected to peak between 2014 and 2024.
