About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Langhe Rosso is made from young vines no more than 20–25 years old. The vines are exclusively of massal origin, propagated with wood collected while pruning the same vineyards.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place only in wooden vats and is initiated with a pied de cuve of indigenous yeasts. It lasts approximately ten days. This is followed by at least two months of submerged-cap maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately five years in a neutral oak barrel and concrete tanks.
Technical data
Annual production is approximately 10,000 bottles.
Vintage notes
The vintages presented range from 2000 through 2019.
