About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Nebbiolo grows in the historic Barolo area, on limestone and sandy soils. The region's typical autumn mists shape the wine's style.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and given a short cold maceration to bring out as much of the grape's natural aroma as possible. Fermentation takes place in steel.

Ageing

The wine ages for 24 months in large American oak barrels, then rests further in stainless steel tanks and in bottle.

Tasting profile

Expressive, with aromas of rose and tar. The acidity is lively, the colour deep and the tannins firm. It combines power, structure and elegance, and gains depth over the years. The bouquet is complex and opens up gradually.
