About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Dolcetto grapes are grown in the Alba area on clay-limestone soils, which give the wine structure, freshness and minerality.

Vinification

Harvest takes place in the second half of September, when the grapes reach optimal ripeness. A brief cold maceration is followed by 6 days of fermentation in stainless steel, which gently extracts colour and aroma without making the wine heavy with tannins.

Ageing

The wine ages in stainless steel, which preserves its clean, straightforward style. It then rests in bottle for 8–10 months, smoothing the texture and giving a softer feel.

Tasting profile

Immediately expressive, with ripe dark berries and juicy fruit. The structure is soft, and the wine is approachable and easy to enjoy.

Serving and pairing

It needs no elaborate pairings.
