About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in Alba, Piedmont. The estate supports organic practices and uses only natural fertilisers. Fruit is selected in the vineyard, with half of the bunches left on the vines. In favourable, warm years, one vine yields enough fruit for one bottle; in rainy years, several vines are needed.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness in mid-September. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in steel tanks with native yeasts and regular bâtonnage.
Ageing
The wine matures for 10 months in stainless-steel vats.
Tasting profile
Soft, rounded and smooth, with a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced palate.
