About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from various vineyards belonging to Podere Rocche dei Manzoni, all situated in Monforte d'Alba (CN). The vineyards are farmed sustainably, with practices intended to reduce fungicide use. The vines are Guyot trained at a density of 4,000 plants per hectare.

Grapes

100% Nebbiolo for Barolo. The first vintage in the estate's history was produced in 1979.

Vinification

The grapes are selected, then fermented at controlled temperature for approximately 21 days in contact with the skins.
