About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Pianpolvere Soprano vineyard is in Monforte d'Alba. Rodolfo Migliorini personally cultivated its grapes for many years, following the Green Experience project, which seeks to preserve natural resources and care for the hilly landscape while strengthening the identity of local winemaking methods.

Label / history

The project began in 1998, when the Migliorini family purchased the historic Pianpolvere Soprano vineyard. Rodolfo Migliorini personally made the wine for many years. It is produced in Barolo DOCG and Barolo DOCG Riserva versions; the Riserva is made only in the finest vintages, when favourable weather persists throughout the year.
