About this wine

Grapes

The blend includes Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone, with a small proportion of other permitted red varieties.

Vinification

Produced only in selected years, the wine comes from grapes picked and sorted by hand. They are dried for 3–4 months in specially designed rooms, losing approximately 30% of their weight and becoming highly concentrated. Fermentation lasts around 30 days.

Ageing

The wine matures for 36 months: 80% in American and French oak barrels, half of them new, and 20% in steel tanks.

Tasting profile

Elegant, structured, deep and complex, with distinctive character and retained freshness.

Serving and pairing

Recommended with venison, spicy grilled red meat and mature cheeses.
