About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from selected vineyard plots with slightly pinkish soil known as “Prun Stone.”
Grapes
Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone are blended with a small proportion of other permitted red varieties.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and selected by hand, then dried in dedicated rooms for 3–4 months. During this period, they lose approximately 30% of their weight, concentrating the berries. Fermentation lasts about 30 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for 48 months: 80% in American and French oak barrels, half of which are new, and 20% in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Elegant and complex, with distinctive character and considerable depth.
Serving and pairing
Suitable pairings include grilled meat, game, mature cheeses and complex dishes.
Label / history
Produced only in selected years.
