Label / history
In Sardinian, lugore means “a quiet spring night under a full moon.” The name recalls still nights when the vines were treated for mildew: the sulfur used would become phosphorescent in the moonlight, resembling a path across the sea cast by the moon’s reflection.
The wine won a Gold Medal at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition in 2013 and another at the Mondial des Vins Extrêmes–CERVIM in 2018. In 2018, the 2017 vintage received a Silver Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
