About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the producer’s own vineyard in Roddi and are harvested from 50-year-old vines.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in late September. Fermentation uses natural yeasts at controlled temperatures, with approximately 20–25 days of maceration. Depending on the vintage, the cap may be submerged.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12–14 months in amphorae and oak barrels. Further maturation allows additional nuances to emerge.
Tasting profile
The aroma is bright and expressive. The palate is juicy, elegant and refined, with a clear expression of Nebbiolo’s varietal character.
