About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Nebbiolo comes from several vineyards in different areas. Gian Luca Colombo changes this blend of sites every year, so each vintage has its own character and expression.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control. Skin contact lasts 22 to 60 days, depending on the harvest.

Ageing

The wine ages for 18 months in oak barrels, then for a further 2 years in clay amphorae or concrete vats; the choice changes with each vintage. It is bottled without fining or filtration.

Tasting profile

Elegant, combining the different qualities of Nebbiolo from the various vineyards. The tannic structure becomes rounder and more harmonious with age, in the manner of a classic Italian wine.
