About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in mountain vineyards at Serra-Ozzanos, in the countryside around Monti (Orancia), at 500–600 m above sea level. The soil is particularly loose, and the site has a favourable microclimate.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small crates. Maceration and fermentation take place at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests for several months in 700 L oak barrels.
Label / history
“Donosu” is a Gallurese expression wishing good fortune and literally means “full of gifts.”
