About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Cantuttu vineyards in the countryside around Monti, at 350 m above sea level. The soil is particularly loose, and the hot summer sun gives the variety an intense aroma and pleasant flavour. The first Vermentino vines were planted here in 1987.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small containers. Vinification consists of gentle pressing, settling of the must, and fermentation at a controlled temperature.
