About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Vermentino comes from the Conca Sa Raighina vineyards, in the countryside around Monti, at 350 metres above sea level. The soil is particularly loose, and the summer sun is hot; together they give the variety an intense aroma and pleasant flavour. The first Vermentino vines here were planted in 1987.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small containers. Winemaking consists of gentle pressing, settling of the must, and fermentation at a controlled temperature.

Label / history
"Taerra" is named after the archaeological excavations near the winery.
