About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the communes of Tollo, Ortona, Canosa Sannita and Orsogna at an altitude of 130 m. The 20-year-old vines occupy southeast-facing sites on predominantly clay and limestone soils. The vineyards are cultivated exclusively using organic methods and are certified organic.
Vinification
Harvest begins in mid-October. The grapes undergo temperature-controlled skin maceration, followed by alcoholic fermentation at 25 °C and malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages in glass-lined cement tanks.
