About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the communes of Tollo, Ortona, Canosa Sannita and Orsogna, at an altitude of 130 m. The southeast-facing vineyards have predominantly clay and limestone soils and are planted with 20-year-old vines. They are cultivated exclusively using certified organic methods.
Vinification
Harvest begins in mid-October. The grapes undergo temperature-controlled skin maceration, followed by alcoholic fermentation at 25 °C and malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages in glass-lined cement tanks.
