About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow at 130 m above sea level in the municipalities of Tollo, Ortona, Canosa Sannita and Orsogna. The plots face west and southwest, and the vines are 10–15 years old. The vineyards are farmed exclusively with organic methods, and the wine is certified organic.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September, then destemmed and crushed. The must undergoes cold maceration, gentle pressing and cold settling before fermentation at a controlled 16–18 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks for four months.
Tasting profile
Delicate, with fruity notes on both the nose and palate.
