About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the municipalities of Tollo, Ortona, Canosa Sannita and Orsogna, at 130 metres above sea level. The plots face west and southwest, and the vines are 10–15 years old. Only organic farming methods are used, and the wine is certified organic.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September, then destemmed and crushed. The must undergoes cold maceration, gentle pressing and cold settling before fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C.
Ageing
The wine ages in stainless-steel tanks for four months.
Tasting profile
Delicate, with fruity notes on both the nose and palate.
