About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in the communes of Tollo, Ortona, Canosa Sannita and Orsogna, at an altitude of 130 m. The vineyards face west and southwest, and the vines are 10–15 years old.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September. After destemming and crushing, they undergo cold maceration, gentle pressing and cold settling of the must. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C.

Ageing

The wine rests in stainless steel tanks for four months.

Tasting profile

Delicate, with fruity aromas and flavours.
