About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow at 80 m above sea level on limestone and clay soils. The wine is produced organically.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled 18 °C, followed by a three-month second fermentation using the Charmat method.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in bottle before release.
Label / history
The organic approach extends to the packaging: both the label paper and cork are FSC-certified and sourced from responsibly managed forests that take social considerations into account.
The wine received gold medals at Mundus Vini Biofach 2021, Berliner Wein Trophy 2020 and AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge 2020. It also received a silver medal at Decanter WWA 2021 and the Falstaff Prosecco Trophy 2020.
