A century-old Nerello Mascalese vineyard in Contrada Feudo di Mezzo stands at 650 m above sea level near Passopisciaro, within Castiglione di Sicilia. The site’s varied soils support old, deep-rooted vines and protect them from both drought and excessive moisture. The vines are trained in espalier and alberello systems.
