Storia
2005
Claudio Quarta founded the winery after leaving a successful career as a pharmacist to devote himself fully to winemaking. He set out not merely to create another range of wines but to rethink the entire winemaking process, including the relationship with the land and the way grapes are grown, bringing together tradition and innovation with the goal of producing wines of the highest quality.
His daughter, Alessandra, supported him and took on some of the responsibility for managing the company. The winery grew quickly.
2012
Claudio acquired the winery's third estate.
Today
Claudio Quarta comprises three wineries: Moros in Guagnano (Lecce), Tenute Eméra in Lizzano (Taranto), and Sanpaolo in Torrioni (Avellino). Its wines have been recognized by world-renowned critics and have received many awards at international competitions.
Filosofia
Claudio Quarta set out to do more than create another range of wines: he aimed to rethink the entire winemaking process, including the relationship with the land and the way the grapes are grown, bringing tradition and innovation together with the main goal of producing wines of the highest quality.
