Conde

In 2001, Francesco Condello, founder and owner of the Conde winery, left a long career in finance to follow his lifelong passion for winemaking. His love of wine began in childhood, when he helped his grandparents make wine for the family table. Even while working as a broker in Bologna, he remained deeply connected to the land and never gave up his dream of growing grapes. During his career he travelled widely through some of Europe's best-known wine regions. When he decided to pursue his calling, he chose Predappio, an area considered the true home of Sangiovese. The Conde estate covers 110 hectares, where a dedicated team works every day with the same passion as its founder, together developing Conde's distinctive style of Sangiovese, offered in several versions: DOC, Superiore, Reserve and Rose.

People are seen simply as observers, helping nature express its character and tell its own story — a short story of sunshine, wind and rain, lasting just a year, but one that begins again with every vintage, becoming part of the continuing story of the Predappio region.
