Camillo Donati's grandfather, Arola Orlando, planted vines in Emilia-Romagna to grow grapes and make wine for his family. At times, the vineyards were the family's only source of income.
After Orlando's death
The vineyard passed to Camillo's father, a successful financier who also respected the family traditions and loved winemaking.
Today
Camillo Donati and his wife, Francesca, run the estate. Since it was founded, the total vineyard area has grown from 1 to 15 hectares.
