Grapes
Nerello Mascalese is blended with a small amount of Nerello Cappuccio.
Vinification
The wine macerates on the skins for 8–10 days and ferments in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously.
Ageing
It matures for 20 months in oak barrels.

The vines were planted in 1920 by Mr. Musmeci. The wine bears his name as a mark of respect.
