Vineyard and terroir
The Fiano comes from the Terra delle Fate (“Land of the Fairies”) vineyard, overlooking the Hato Valley. Its vines grow in clay soils and yield an average of 35 quintals/ha.
Feudo Disisa’s approximately 150 ha of vineyards are divided into nine microzones with differing exposures, slopes and elevations. Temperature variations, plentiful sunshine and good ventilation create distinct microclimates.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and carefully selected. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15–16 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks for six months, followed by at least 120 days in the estate’s cellars after bottling.
Tasting profile
Bright in character, with pronounced floral notes of broom and acacia.
