Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie at 300–400 m, with exposures ranging from south to south-east. The medium-calcareous soils are rich in minerals and contain balanced proportions of silt, clay and sand.
Grapes
100% Barbera.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and completely destemmed before gentle pressing. Fermentation proceeds at a controlled temperature, with maceration lasting 8–10 days. Malolactic fermentation follows immediately in wooden barrels.

The 2021 vintage received published scores of 17 and 90 points.
