Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay is grown in San Lorenzo, Friuli, at 60 m above sea level. Lis Neris has 40 hectares of vineyards there, planted on a small plateau of limestone gravel. The local climate supports slow ripening, contributing balance and concentrated flavour. The vines average 25 years of age and are planted at a density of 5,200 vines per hectare.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in 500-litre French oak barrels at 20–22 °C for 11 months.
Ageing
The wine rests in bottle for four months.

Fruit and spice notes form a rich, layered aroma and flavour.
