Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Picol vineyard, whose limestone and alluvial soils include a layer of gravel. The vines are more than 30 years old and are managed organically to preserve environmental balance and the purity of the fruit. The soils contribute clarity, refined minerality and juicy fruit notes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees for 11 months, partly in French oak barrels, followed by at least one year in bottle.
Tasting profile
Expressive and fruit-driven, with layers of fruit and flowers, refined minerality and juicy fruit notes. The palate is complex and harmonious, leading to a delicate, balanced saline finish. Its fruit character evokes the orchards of Friuli.
