Storia
Fattoria del Monticino Rosso is set in the hills of Imola, in a part of Emilia-Romagna that forms a cultural boundary between the sparkling wines of the west, the still wines of the east, and the area where Sangiovese begins to be grown. For 50 years, the winery has produced quality wines from grapes native to Romagna, including Albana, Sangiovese, and Pignoletto.
The estate comprises two historic farms, each with a traditional old manor house decorated with frescoes and surrounded by parkland filled with ancient trees.
Today the estate is owned by the Zeoli brothers, who are transforming its farming practices to ensure high-quality production in harmony with the local land and climate. They are recognized as masters of Albana, and in recent years have also produced red wines from Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese.

Vinificazione
The Zeoli brothers are transforming the estate's farming practices to ensure high-quality production in harmony with the local land and climate. Their work with Albana has made them recognized masters of the variety, producing wines that grow more engaging, mature, and complex year after year. In recent years they have also grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese for red wine production.
The estate's red wines, made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, are elegant and juicy with subtle yet intense aromas that remain true to their varieties. Specialists have noted their precision and purity, as well as the refined use of oak, which adds roundness without taking away from the wines' freshness and energy.
