Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from terraced hillside vineyards in Ruffoli, Greve in Chianti, at an average elevation of 450 m above sea level. The sites face west and southwest. Their sandy-silty soils contain a particularly high proportion of stones. The vines are more than 20 years old and are trained using Guyot and spurred-cordon systems. Vittorio Fiore and his sons cultivate the vineyards.
Grapes
Sangiovese di Lamole. The wine is conceived as an expression of the Ruffoli hillside and the Chianti Classico territory.
Vinification
Harvest takes place during the first half of October. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are carried out in lined cement vats.

The wine remains in lined cement vats for 10 months. Bottling takes place in July, followed by at least three months of bottle maturation.
