Vinification
Fermentation is spontaneous, on the skins, and lasts about 4 weeks in an open vat. The wine belongs to Primosic's "Skin" collection of orange wines made with extended skin contact, and its vinification is presented as both a culmination and a key reference point of the producer's work on that collection. After vinification the wine rests on fine lees.
Ageing
After resting on fine lees, the wine is clarified and matured in large barrels for more than a year. It is bottled without sterile filtration and continues to age in bottle until it reaches the right harmony and balance. It is made to develop significantly over time.

The 2019 vintage received a gold medal from the rating organisation "The Wine Hunter".

"Skin" is a collection of orange wines from Primosic, the product of years of refining winemaking methods and careful research. The aim is to capture the full character of exceptional vines in original, unconventional expressions. This Riserva combines a return to winemaking's roots with a sensual experience in the glass.
