Questo vino

Grapes

Predominantly Sangiovese, at approximately 90%, complemented by 10% Canaiolo. It is the estate's flagship wine and is produced every year.

Ageing

Maturation lasts approximately 12 months and takes place principally in Allier oak barrels and tanks. The wine is bottled without filtration and rests for a further six months in bottle before release.

Technical data

Average annual production is approximately 60,000 bottles.

Tasting profile

Lively ruby red with violet reflections. The fruit-led bouquet recalls wild berries and sour cherries. The palate is harmonious and well structured, with savoury character and a lightly tannic edge.

Serving and pairing

It can mature for approximately 7–10 years.
