Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from a single vineyard in Valpolicella. Tommasi works exclusively with grapes grown on its own estates and attributes the wines’ distinctive character to limestone soils and local varieties.

Vinification

The grapes are dried before vinification, creating the wine’s underlying structure. Traditional and modern winemaking methods are combined.

Ageing

The wine undergoes ten years of ageing.

Tasting profile

The 2009 vintage balances powerful tannins and fleshy fruit with aromatic lift and freshness. Its structure is elegant and restrained but retains tension, supporting a progressive succession of fruit and spice notes. The wine is layered, deep and harmonious, and continues to evolve in the glass.

Label / history

The wine began as an experiment and a challenge to reveal the potential of a single vineyard. The 2009 vintage followed ten years of close attention to the vineyard and the seasons. Production is very limited.
