Produced in Contrada Alboretto Chiuse del Signore on Etna. The wine belongs to Scalunera, a name derived from the Sicilian word for a staircase and evocative of the stepped volcanic slopes and their characteristic lava-stone walls.

Label / history
The Scalunera name means “staircase” in Sicilian dialect, recalling the paths across Etna’s slopes and the traditional lava-stone walls found among the vineyards.
