About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The wine comes from the small Cottà vineyard, a geographical mention in the municipality of Neive. The site has a south-west exposure, and its vines were planted between 1962 and 1996. Its Tortonian-influenced soils give wines characterized by complexity and longevity.

Grapes

100% Nebbiolo.

Ageing

Maturation lasts about 24 months in oak casks, followed by approximately 24 months of refinement in bottle.

Tasting profile

The vineyard produces a complex, long-lived expression of Barbaresco.

Label / history

The Rocca family purchased the small Cottà vineyard during the 1970s. Its grapes were vinified separately for the first time in 2015, revealing another expression of Barbaresco’s historic growing area.
