About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from traditional areas around Orvieto, where the soils are limestone and alluvial. Umbria's moderate continental climate and the difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures help the grapes develop lively acidity and delicate aromas.
Grapes
A typical Orvieto Classico, blended from local varieties, primarily Procanico (the local name for a group of Trebbiano-based varieties) and Grechetto. Together they give freshness and a full, fruity structure.
Vinification
Each variety is harvested separately, then gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, following the traditional approach for fresh Italian white wines. This preserves the purity of the aromas and the bright acidity.
Tasting profile
Fresh, light and approachable, with a clean fruit profile and a light texture. Rather than dry or austere, it has a pleasant saline, mineral edge. The style aims for a balance between generous fruit and freshness.
Serving and pairing
Suited to dishes from Umbria and central Italy, including pasta, lightly seasoned fish and vegetable dishes.
