About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The vineyards lie on the hills of Verduno and Roddi, at 270 to 350 m above sea level. The soils are limestone and clay with pockets of sand and marl, which favour even ripening of the grapes.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and delivered to the winery in small crates. For the 2024 vintage a large proportion of whole bunches was used in fermentation, adding freshness, expression and lightness. Maceration was gentle, with delicate pumping over and careful punch-downs. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks.

Ageing

About 9 months on the fine lees.

Tasting profile

Easygoing yet full of character, with the distinctive personality of Dolcetto. Juicy fruit and lively energy; versatile at the table.
