About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from biodynamically farmed plots in Orsogna, Abruzzo, at an altitude of 440 m. The vineyards lie 16 km from the Adriatic Sea and 16 km from the Majella.

Vinification

The grapes are selected, destemmed and crushed at the winery. Alcoholic fermentation begins spontaneously with the wild yeasts present on the fruit. No sulfur dioxide is added at any stage, and the wine is not sterile-filtered.

Ageing

The wine rests briefly in cement tanks before continuing to mature in bottle.

Label / history

The 2019 vintage received a gold medal at the 2024 Sakura Award competition.
